Pierre Joseph (owner)

Pierre originally graduated from the Solvay Business School of the Free University of Brussels in 1990. He successfully worked as financial analyst & sales area manager for Phillips Petroleum Chemicals, as family company sales & business owner, then as business coach and business consultant during 18 years.

His turning 40 was a life tipping point when in the search of more life meaning and passion, he decided to investigate new avenues of interest. He studied and became energetic healing practitioner, practised native American, Celtic and Inca shamanistic rituals, learned to communicate with the spirit world and became a spiritual new age teacher. In 2011, he discovered Divine Truth teachings which has since then been central in his spiritual aspiration to learn more about God’s Love and develop personal love for God, self, others and the environment.

Successively apprentice gardener in France, learning permaculture at the Permaculture Research Institute (PRI) of Jeff Lawton in Australia, he has then worked in various building and ecosystem restoration projects in Australia and New Zealand, and as a landscape gardener, re-greening nickel mines and working for various nurseries and for food growers in New Caledonia. He also created Vegan Pacific in 2015, a vegan food business. Pursuing his growing passion for the environment, regenerative practices and natural building, he studied and certified as a Clay mason natural builder from Noria & Compagnie in Brive la Gaillarde and as a Clay & Lime stucco plasterer from the Europeean School of Art and Material (EEAM)in Albi France in 2018. In 2019, He created Terpaille&Co natural building. In 2022, he moved to Portugal and bought a 2,7ha piece of oak and chestnut trees forest in Marvão, Alto Alentejo. He became then a registered farmer. In 2024 and 2025, he studied and graduated from the Soil Food Web School of Dr. Elaine Ingham in the Foundation Course and as a Soil Food Web Certified Laboratory Technician.

Founder and general manager of Tapada do Castelo R&D project since 2022, he created Terralma Marvão in 2023, a farming, microbiology laboratory, consulting, teaching, gardening and natural building services business.
